At Warner Bros. Discovery, where David Leavy served as Chief Corporate Affairs Officer before moving into the COO seat at CNN Worldwide, he managed an unusually broad portfolio: corporate relations, global government relations and public policy, communications, marketing, research, and social responsibility. Earlier, as Chief Corporate Operating Officer of Discovery, he was central to the company's 2021 launch of discovery+, its 2008 NASDAQ listing, and its 2018 acquisition of Scripps Networks Interactive.
His foundation was built outside the media industry entirely.
